Yarn Dyed Velvets
This particular type of velvet, made by weaving already colored yarns, has its roots in an extremely ancient technique: different colors and yarns are intertwined to create designs with striped or ‘false plain’ effects, re-proposing and reinterpreting the velvet artisans creations of the past ages.
